‘Längtan’ es el primer cuadro que pinté para otra persona, el primer cuadro que nunca será mío… se siente raro, pero la sonrisa que me queda vale mil cuadros más. Es el primer regalo-cuadro. Quizá no sea el último, pero por ahora, me quedo con que sea el primero.
‘Längtan’ es una de las canciones favoritas de Marie Fredriksson de la persona que ahora es dueña del cuadro. Esa persona que me ayudó a cambiar un poco los colores de los cuadros, que me ayudó a hacer ‘let it go, let it come’…

‘Längtan’ is the first painting I did for someone else, the first canvas that will never be mine… it feels strange, but the smile I keep is worth a thousand canvases more. It is the first painting-gift. Maybe not the last, but for the time being, I keep saying the first.
